Pack Enough Bedding
Since most tent trailers come with built-in beds, pack enough bedding or sleeping bags for the number of people in your party. Without the insulation of regular recreational vehicles, tent trailers without a heating system can get cold at night, so even if you’re using sleeping bags, bring extra blankets.
Stabilize Wheels
Imagine waking up in the morning and realizing your tent trailer has traveled several feet from its original destination during the night. You may not be able to tell the subtle slopes in the ground around your tent trailer, so put blocks on the outside of all the wheels to prevent it from moving.
